This freestanding snowglobe comes complete with a base. You can use electric tealights with these as the bases are extended out the back to rest them on. Do not use standard tealight candles with actual hot flame, not a good idea with acrylic! Please note: Tealights are not included.

All our freestanding products come with a 5mm thick CLEAR base - this makes them stronger and sturdier than most of our rivals. We use clear as we can keep the cost lower by batch producing the bases which fit many of our freestanding shapes. Also, although we take great pains to produce these where the friction of the acrylic keeps them locked sturdily in the base, sometimes due to material variation, this is difficult to do. So sometimes you may need a dab of glue to keep them in place. You can also use a glass file to make them fit just that little bit better if they are a bit on the tight side. (Phil's Top tip - sometimes turning he base upside down makes it a better fit!)
